Why You're Failing At Greenpower Mobility

Greenpower Mobility - All-Energy Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicles

Greenpower designs, builds and distributes a range of low-floor and high-floor electric medium and heavy-duty vehicles. This includes school buses, transit buses, cargo buses, buses for cargo and shuttles.

EV Star is a highly customizable zero-emission vehicle. It's fully FTA certified, Altoona tested and Buy America certified. It has a range that is unbeatable, ADA wheelchair provisions, and cargo delivery setups.

EV Star

GreenPower Motor Company manufactures a complete range of medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicles, which include models with lower and high floors. Their flagship vehicle is the EV Star Cab & Chassis platform, which is able to accommodate many different upfits and bodies for multiple applications. The design of the platform is based on a simple sheet of paper, which allows for the best positioning of the battery pack and a lower center of gravity. This leads to better range/payload ratios.

The EV Star REEFERX was designed for mid-to-last mile refrigerated deliveries as well as catering applications. The refrigerated trucks in class 4 with a single wall structure inside and a higher insulation level than traditional trucks, allows for seamless sanitation and better temperature control. They also have a longer lifespan. The EV Star REEFERX offers superior capacity for cargo and a top payload to range ratio that is ideal for zero-emission goods and passenger transportation.

GreenPower has joined forces with Perrone Robotics to up-fit the EV Star with their TONY (To Navigate You) autonomous vehicle system, which will allow fleets to seamlessly change to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star can also be wirelessly charging up to 75 kW.

We had the opportunity to test the EV9 for a few hours on a local freeway, and found it to be easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The ride is smooth over ruts and bumps, while the EV9 does a great job of suppressing the sound of traffic and wind on the highway. The vehicle's acceleration is surprising fast, and it comes with adjustable regenerative brakes that allow "one-pedal driving" simply by releasing the accelerator.

The EV9 is extremely reliable and can be fully recharged in just three hours at home, or with any commercial charger.  electric scooter green  has the option of choosing between two operating modes - eco mode and sport mode. The eco mode is a preference for torque and cruise control while the sport mode increases speed and handling. Both are fun to drive and provide an experience unlike any other for anyone who has not driven an electric vehicle before.

In addition to the EV9, GreenPower has several other electric vehicles, such as a multi-purpose, all-electric mini bus, called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA compliant and can be used as an executive shuttle, micro-transit or transit vanpool, bus, or a paratransit vehicle.

GreenPower is currently producing around 10 EV Star buses a month for the Jacksonville Transit Authority, which is attempting to replace their fleet of diesel vehicles with 100 all-electric vehicles. With the Biden Administration looking to electrify school buses across the country, GreenPower plans on ramping up production to meet demand. Their EV Star bus is the first of its kind to be Altoona-tested and FMVSS-certified, Buy America compliant and ADA compliant. This makes them eligible for federal transit grants. Stay tuned as we follow the AV Star on its demonstration tour later in the year. We will be sharing more details about this revolutionary EV.
